About our company
The Northern Utah Academy of Spanish is dedicated to providing corporations, academic institutions, and other origanizations with unparalleled onsite, customized Spanish instruction that enables each student to truly converse.
About our Teaching Method
The Visual Link® Speaking Method was developed by David S. Clark, director of U.S. Institute of Languages, in 1996. It was then perfected by a team of linguists/Instructors from the Institute. Instead of just learning isolated words, using this method, individuals learn how to form correct, complete sentences by the end of the first session. Languages are learned by themes like Basic Needs, Locations, Survival Expressions, and Communication. Within each theme, the language is broken down into groups of words. Words are chosen from each group to form sentences. Along with skilled instructors, directed participation, and online exam tracking, the Visual Link ® Spanish method creates the most effective complete course available. Trenton L. Maw
Trenton is the director of the Northern Utah Academy of Spanish, and has been licensed by the U.S. Institute of Languages, to teach using the Visual Link ® Spanish Method. He is a Spanish major, and has done translation work for Weber State University, and has lived extensivly in different parts of South America.
